Chamber singers in the Concert Choir will headline the 17th annual Encuentro Coral de Musica Colombiana in Buga, Colombia, from Oct. 16 to Oct. 21. Mindful Movies, a free film series, kicks off 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Alachua County’s Downtown Branch Library. Mindful Movies will play documentaries to create community dialogue about global issues and how they can be addressed locally, press liaison Sarah Thompson said.
