No. 7 Florida takes crucial rubber match against No. 1 Oklahoma

On their senior night, Florida defeated Oklahoma on Friday to even the series 9-4.
The No. 7 Florida Gators opened their series against the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners looking to win the series opener in a home series for the first time this season. Florida, however, dropped the series opener in nine innings on Thursday.
No. 8 Florida was in a tied rubber match against No. 10 LSU through five innings. From there, the Gators surrendered eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to lose in run-rule fashion.
The No. 8 Florida Gators had a chance to take the series against No. 10 LSU on Sunday, however, the Tigers came out on top in walk-off fashion in the second game of the series.
Florida used Ava Brown’s electric performance at the plate to defeat LSU at Tiger Park in six innings.
No. 8 Florida took care of business in their final midweek contest, as they run-ruled South Florida on Wednesday and finished undefeated at home against in-state opponents.
