2k Sickle Cell charity benefit raises awareness

The North Central Florida Chapter of the Sickle Cell Association of Florida hosted a 2k awareness walk on Sept. 24 to raise money for those affected by the disease. The proceeds are to go to research efforts and help pay medical expenses for those who cannot afford the costs.

Engineering Budget Cut Protesters

Senate President Micah Lewis approved the proposal to give SGP $90,000 out of SG reserve funds. The proposal also gives money to Gator Growl, Soulfest and the Florida Invitational Step Show.
