This may come as a surprise to some, but I’m not the sentimental type.
Since his death in 2017, it’s become a tradition for UF fans to join together and sing along to Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” before every fourth quarter, and on Saturday, it was no different.
Florida has undergone a turbulent season in 2019.
With cold in the air and snow on the sidelines, many predicted Florida to come out pounding the ball on the ground, using the run game to penetrate the Missouri defense.
The game seemed well in hand.
Yes, the Gators won the game. And yes, the box score looks good.
JACKSONVILLE — The grills were hot, and the music was loud. The hype was real, and the excitement was high.
Three yards.
Dramatic endings, top-10 upsets and championship dreams busted. All Florida had to do was sit and watch.
