Pictured is a folded card reading “Taja DeJesus,” who was the fourth trans woman of color to die violently in the U.S. in 2015. The card was placed as part of a vigil on Turlington Plaza on Monday night in memory of trans women who have been killed violently.

National Resident Matching Program

Paul Skelton, a fourth-year UF medical student, embraces his mother, Dr. Nadine Skelton, after finding out the National Resident Matching Program results at UF College of Medicine's annual Match Day. Skelton was matched at the University of Florida for internal medicine. UF was his first-choice residency program.
