Ben Nielsen is The Alligator’s Multimedia Editor. He formerly worked as The Alligator's videographer, and began working as multimedia editor in January 2024. He specializes in visual storytelling and manages photos, graphics and videos.

El local DIY The Roadhouse cierra después de cuatro años

En una calle típica llena de casas ordinarias, una vivienda ofrece más de lo que parece a simple vista. En su interior, se pueden encontrar instrumentos musicales, decoraciones vibrantes y multitudes eléctricas. Este es The Roadhouse, un local de música DIY que ha albergado actuaciones de música en vivo regularmente durante los últimos cuatro años. El local, ubicado en Grove Street, anunció en una publicación de Instagram que realizará su último show este verano, el 27 de julio.

Vision Party wins Spring 2024 executive ticket, majority Senate seats

As Supervisor of Elections Ethan Halle stood on the stairs above the Reitz atrium, the ground floor came to a hush as students set down their Sprite cups and lowered their cardboard cutouts of candidates’ heads. The results were in. Vision Party swept the executive ticket of the Spring 2024 SG election, electing John Brinkman as student body president. Oct. 28, 2023, a crowd of costumed people amassed for the annual independent Queer the Fest. The “Mutant Disco” theme brought a slew of colorful glittery outfits and creative face makeup.
