Judge rules Gainesville man had probable cause in federal stalking charges

Magistrate judge Midori A. Lowry ruled Monday that the government provided probable cause a Gainesville man had committed an act of cyberstalking. Forrest Kendall Pemberton was arrested by the FBI on federal stalking charges Dec. 28 for allegedly plotting an attack on a major pro-Israel organization in Plantation, Florida.

UF student arrested on charges of child pornography

Officers from the Gainesville Police Department arrested Nathan Lewis, 20, on Thursday after a tip was first received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on May 31.

GRU Authority Board adopts changes to billing for solar-owning customers

In its final meeting Wednesday, the GRU Authority Board passed a resolution authorizing changes to its customer-owned renewable generation policy, adopting a new structure for billing its solar-owning customers.
