Senior Maisie Filler shot the second lowest score in program history in the opening round. Her impressive 8-under 64 first round lead the way for the Gators. Filler’s outing earned her first place on the player leaderboard through the first 36 holes.
The Florida Gators Men’s Golf team traveled to Eagle Point Golf Club for The Williams Cup in Wilmington, North Carolina, this week. UF finished Xth in the 54-hole tournament.
The Gators placed seventh in stroke play Tuesday at the SEC Fall Preview and forced match play with the Crimson Tide Wednesday before UF fell 3-2.
