This season has been an incredibly successful one for Florida.
The situation was the same for the Gators almost exactly a year ago Friday.
Coach Jenny Rowland wasn’t expecting to be doused with confetti, once “We are the Champions” started blaring on the loudspeaker.
If you were to ask any member of the Gators gymnastics team, they would tell you that every Friday night in the O’Connell Center is special.
Trinity Thomas is becoming a household name in Gators sports.
The pressure wasn’t on Trinity Thomas this time.
Jenny Rowland will always remember that date.
It is starting to become a tradition for the fans who trek to the O’Connell Center every other Friday night to watch the Florida gymnastics team.
Eight years is a long time.
There’s been a common trait for the Florida gymnastics team this season that’s been exhibited in nearly all the squad’s wins. When someone moves into the lineup –– no matter the rotation –– they doesn’t miss a beat.
The official state song of Kentucky is “My Old Kentucky Home.”
The Florida gymnastics team has already been through a tumultuous stretch to begin the season.
