The Gators (9-7, 2-2 SEC) defeated LSU (12-4, 1-3 SEC) 67-56 Tuesday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Florida used the charity stripe to its advantage all night. It finished 24-32 from the free throw line, while the Tigers only managed 16 attempts. UF also outscored LSU 23-5 in points off of turnovers.
After defeating the Georgia Bulldogs at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Saturday, the Gators are traveling to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to face the Louisiana State Tigers. A win could move UF to .500 in conference play.
Florida Gators men's basketball began Southeastern Conference play with back-to-back one-possession losses. In a game against their former head coach Mike White and the Georgia Bulldogs, the Gators won their first SEC game.

Florida fell to UConn 75-54 in what ended up a blowout loss for the Gators. Star fifth-year forward Colin Castleton recorded just 12 points on 4-14 shooting in the loss.

The Gators rebounded from a rocky trip to Portland, Oregon, with their biggest win of the season over the Florida A&M Rattlers Wednesday night. A perfect 3-point shooting performance and a team-high 23 points from Bonham helped UF cruise to victory.

Florida defeated Kennesaw State 88-78 inside the Stephen C. O'Connell Center Friday night. The fifth-year star was the solution for all the Gators’ problems, putting up a career-high 33 points as UF dominated its competitor.
