Michael Belle's Wednesday column was very interesting to read. But I wanted to focus on one particular point I couldn't agree with more: "Becoming the right person instead of stumbling on top of the right person." A close friend and I both recently came to this conclusion!

To me, being a Gator means going to every game in orange and blue, applauding our team and loudly booing the opposing team for even thinking it had a chance to survive entering our Swamp. I let them know this during every offensive drive, even after my throat is sore.
The Southeastern Conference championship game ticketing system is the best system the University Athletic Association has had yet.
Wes Hunt's column, "Bible archaic, full of contradictions," is ludicrous. Every contradiction he quoted was either taken out of context or completely ignorant.
Wvery morning, thousands of UF students put their trust in the Alligator. They pick it up not only because it is the most popular news platform for students at UF but because they have vested their belief in the objectivity and journalistic integrity of the editors and news staff.
As someone who worked against Amendment 2 and felt hurt by the results, I appreciate the general sentiment behind Todd Portnowitz's guest column, but I take serious issue with the implication that all of Sen. John McCain's supporters are unreasonable or immature voters.
In two and a half years, the e-Learning System has not received much attention in your publication, despite the fact that it has become an integral part of every student's UF experience and nearly every professor's curriculum.
I'll say it right now: Ticketmaster blows.
I would like to say two things to Daniel Seco: First, please do not wave your "strong Catholic" banner while promoting things that are unequivocally contrary to the Church's teaching. You can't have it both ways.
While we have not seen the impact of Gator Watch, as someone who has worked the safety zone, I have seen the benefits this program provides for students.
The UF population, having engaged in debate concerning carrying concealed weapons on campus, would do well to reread Wednesday's article "Police name suspect."
Buddy McKendree's letter that was published Thursday gave me a good laugh. Insinuating that his beloved Sarah Palin was harshly handled by the media is a claim too bold and comedic not to respond. The media treated Palin for what she was - annoying, brain dead and full of fluff.
While I think it's great that Student Body President Kevin Reilly and Student Senate President Jordan Johnson say they want to end the corruption in Student Government, ethics seminars and rewriting the "weak" SG Code of Ethics will not accomplish their goals.
The quality of journalistic reporting performed during this election season was downright awful.
Shame on you, University Athletic Association staff. Herding Rollins College's fans around from section to section like cattle during the men's basketball game Thursday night was disgraceful.

I wanted to commend Jake Miller's column in Friday's Alligator.
I understand that hazing is wrong and dangerous, but if everything was voluntary, can allegations still be considered hazing?
