Old parties registered for UF Student Government elections

Twenty-third man arrested in child-sex sting

The Alachua County Sheriff's Office arrested another man Friday in its undercover child-sex sting.

Emily Rizzo, an 18-year-old animal science freshman, plays with puppies at the Share the Love animal adoption event at the Subaru of Gainesville dealership Saturday afternoon. Subaru paid the adoption fee and donated $100 for every dog adopted.

Puppies from shelter find homes in time for Valentine's Day

Thirty dogs, cats and puppies were available for adoption during the "Share the Love" event at the Subaru of Gainesville dealership Saturday.

After Saturday's loss to Tennessee, Florida coach Billy Donovan compared this year's team to the one from 2007-08, which started the season 18-3 before losing seven of the last 10.

Get Carded with Gator 1 campaign promotes organ donation

UF's Get Carded campaign aims to give students a chance to be heroes when they get their Gator 1 Cards at Preview.

Graffiti covers the wall in front of a house on University Avenue on Thursday. In response to increased amounts of graffiti, spokesman Bob Woods said the city has developed a campaign to raise public awareness toward the issue and minimize the unwelcome marks. The campaign will be unrolled this month.
