The Students Party's mission is simple: We want to help you take back your Student Government and your university. For too long, the average student has not had a voice in Student Government, and if elected, the Students Party promises to be that voice.

In Wednesday's edition of the Alligator, a headline stated that Student Government Productions and Gator Growl are receiving $161,000 from Student Government. SGP is actually receving $90,000. Of that funding, $71, 000 is going to Gator Growl.
Senate President Micah Lewis approved the proposal to give SGP $90,000 out of SG reserve funds. The proposal also gives money to Gator Growl, Soulfest and the Florida Invitational Step Show.
The Student Senate voted Tuesday to give Student Government Productions $90,000 from Student Government reserve funds.
