A man had to be pulled from underneath a pickup truck by emergency crews after hitting it on his motorcycle across from the Reitz Union bus stop Thursday afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
"There were people pointing and I saw a person underneath the truck," said Danys Cervantes, a UF student.
The man on the motorcycle T-boned the truck as it was pulling out from the parking lot across from the Reitz Union, according to a University Police Department officer.
He was pulled out from under the vehicle by emergency crews and placed on a backboard, according to Cervantes.
The man driving the truck declined to comment.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. near the intersection of Museum Road and Center Drive.
