The Gainesville Police Department arrested a Gainesville man Thursday in connection to a shooting at the Woodland Park Apartments earlier this month.
Police arrested and charged D’Angelo Latrell Deed, 22, with one count of murder and one count of robbery for his involvement in the death of a young man on Aug. 10, according to a GPD press release.
The name of the juvenile who died has not yet been released by police. Deed was taken to the Alachua County Jail, according to police.
The investigation is still open and the police department urges those with any information to call Detective Bernal at 352-393-7729. Those who want to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 352-372-7867.
