21 Savage wants 50 hot wings. They must be extra crispy.

A pack of condoms, flavored Backwoods and medium Hanes boxers were listed on his contract to perform at UF on Feb. 27, but all were crossed out in red ink, according to his contract with UF.

The 26-year-old rapper is being paid $110,000 to perform an hour-long set at the O’Connell Center to celebrate Black History Month.

“His favorite shows are university shows,” said Justin Williams, 21 Savage’s co-manager. “He can’t wait to see you guys.”

What else is included in his contract? Here are three things to know about 21 Savage’s contract and upcoming performance:

1) There will be a meet and greet.

The invite-only meet and greet will only have time for groups of five or more people to take pictures with the artist, said Andrew Kelly, the chairman of Student Government Productions and a 21-year-old UF finance senior.

“The majority of invitations will go towards the SG Productions staff as a reward for all their hard work,” he said.

2) More than a page of the contract was dedicated toward 21 Savage’s rider, which is a list of items requested for his dressing room.

The list included, but was not limited to, about nine different types of entrees, including a shrimp cocktail platter and chicken tenders to feed 25, six types of snacks, nine types of drinks, 12 white hand towels, 12 white body towels (fresh, not laundered) and women’s powder/scented Secret deodorant, according to the contract.

Artists often request food and miscellaneous items, Kelly said. If these requirements are not met, SG Productions is in breach of contract and the show could be canceled. These items aren’t included in the $110,000.

Williams doesn’t directly handle the items ordered for the dressing room. He said if a performer had the choice to feed himself with whatever he wanted to feel prepared, he should take it.

“It all comes in handy for being comfortable for a show,” Williams said.

Isabella Roman-Secor, an 18-year-old UF management freshman who is planning on buying tickets, said it seems like 21 Savage is taking advantage of the university.

“Do you really need that much stuff?” Roman-Secor said.

3) Condoms, cigars, cigarillos, underwear and hibachi platters were crossed out.

The items crossed out included a 12-pack of large Trojan Magnum condoms, six packs of Backwoods in varying flavors, six packs of Swisher Sweets in varying flavors, a pack of medium Hanes Boxers and six Benihana hibachi meals with shrimp, lobster tails and strawberry lemonade.

Per UF policy, alcohol and tobacco product requests are never filled, Kelly said.
