The Gators and head coach JC Deacon announced their 2021-22 season schedule Friday.
Florida begins its season with a trip to the Windy City to compete in the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational Sept. 17-19. The event is hosted by the University of Illinois and will be played at Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago.
October will be a busy month for the Gators, featuring three events in consecutive weeks. The Nike Collegiate Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas, will be held Oct. 4-5. The following week, Florida will collide with the rest of their conference in the SEC Match Play Championship atShoal Creek Club in Birmingham, Alabama, Oct. 10-12.
The fall half of the schedule comes to a close back in the Sunshine State. About two hours south of Gainesville, the Gators will tee it up in Windermere, Florida, for the Isleworth Collegiate Oct. 17-19.
The Gators have another short trip following the winter break, this time heading to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Sea Best Invitational will be held at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley course from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1.
Eleven days later, Florida looks to defend their turf for a third straight year at the 45th annual Gators Invitational. The event will be played at Mark Bostick Golf Course Feb. 12-13.
The spring continues with the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Feb. 27 to March 1. Florida returns to the east coast after a small break in the action for a debut appearance in the Linger Longer, held in Eatonton, Georgia, March 20-22.
The Gators conclude their regular season with a second consecutive appearance at the Calusa Cup in Naples, Florida, April 3-5.
Postseason play kicks off with the SEC Championship April 19-24. After being held in Birmingham, Alabama, last season, the event moves to St. Simons Island, Georgia, for 2022.
NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 16-18. If Florida qualifies for a regional, the location will be announced in the weeks prior to the event.
Gray Hawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, once again serves as host for the NCAA Championship. The Gators look to make a return trip and improve upon last season's T22 finish.
