The No. 13 UF men's golf team not only finished in the top five of the NCAA Southwest Regional on Saturday, they won it.
The Gators shot 22 over par for the event and used a final round of 3 under par from senior Billy Horschel to finish in first place in Austin, Texas. They started the final round in third place but came from behind and bested second-place Texas Tech by two strokes.
UF will now head to NCAA Championships following its first tournament win other than its home event in more than two years.
