I just wanted to say how disappointed I was as I left Gator Growl feeling brainwashed.

I love Gator Growl and appreciate all the hard work students put into it. I understand that with election coming up it is important for students to vote, but was it necessary to weave "go vote" into every skit? This was especially frustrating because each skit had undertones really meaning "go vote for Obama."

A lot of people have fallen under the spell of Obama's great rhetorical ability or have been convinced by political ads and their professors but, sorry, not all students are Democrats.

It's fine to stress the importance of voting and being an informed voter, but at Gator Growl? I thought it was supposed to be fun.

If I wanted to go to a rally or hear all that political jargon I could step through Turlington or turn on the TV.

For one night, can we leave out the politics separating us into sides and just come together as a Gator Nation?
