Police blocked off northbound traffic on Southwest 34th Street at Hull Road after a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Sunday night.
The crash happened at the intersection of Southwest 34th Street and Hull Road.
When police arrived, the motorcyclist, who isn’t a UF student, was unconscious, said GPD Lt. Jorge Campos.
The motorcyclist is being treated for leg injuries at Shands at UF, he said.
The silver Honda CRV was turning left onto Hull Road from Southwest 34th Street as a black motorcycle went north on Southwest 34th Street.
The right side of the Honda’s bumper was crushed.
Northbound traffic on Southwest 34th Street is being rerouted to Hull Road and back onto Southwest 34th Street through Radio Road.
