DJ Khaled and Bo Burnham are coming to UF.
The producer and comedian will perform at the Reitz Union Board of Entertainment’s third annual Big Orange Festival at the Reitz Union on March 18 at 8 p.m. Students can pick up one ticket to see either performer. Students cannot get tickets to see both, according to the event’s Facebook page.
Bo Burnham will perform at 9 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom, and DJ Khaled will perform at 11 p.m. in the Rion Ballroom. As of press time, RUB Entertainment did not disclose how much each performer is being paid.
Students can pick up a free ticket March 17 and 18 from at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the registration counter on the second floor of the Reitz Union. Students must bring their Gator 1 Cards. Those who don’t get a ticket early can wait in standby lines the night of the performance, according to the page.
Aaron Sager, a UF mechanical engineering freshman, said he expected the event to include major celebrities.
“The University of Florida is finally getting entertainers and performers it finally deserves, given how big the market it is,” the 19-year-old said.
Nick Natural, a UF chemical engineering sophomore, said he will attend Bo Burnham’s performance.
“I think he will be one of the best comedians that comes to UF as long as I’ve been here,” the 19-year-old said.
