On Friday, Kevin Homrich-Micocci's column was largely dedicated to an informative summary of the poor decisions, mishaps, lies and conspiracies recently perpetrated by the UF administration and its lapdogs in the Gator Party. However, he also somehow found reason to praise the Gator Party's ability to "get something done" and criticize the Orange and Blue Party's "impotence."

I'm curious what he believes the Gator Party has gotten done, since the only accomplishment he mentioned in his column was their illegal conspiracy to keep Orange and Blue Senators out of important meetings and committees. Perhaps the Gator Party's dedication to getting such things done might have something to do with any difficulties the Orange and Blue Party has had in accomplishing their goals?

Homrich-Micocci could have mentioned that, in spite of such obstacles, the Orange and Blue Party was the driving force behind the Thanksgiving travel-day referendum, the ongoing fight for online voting, the defeat of the administration's proposed off-campus drinking regulations and the recent legislation that cut thousands of dollars in salaries for pointless Student Government positions.

I appreciate Homrich-Micocci's efforts to inform people about the corruption and ineptitude in SG, but he shouldn't try so hard to be neutral when it's quite clear which party is really working for the students.
