For the past three days, Gators Olivia Janowicz, Kourtney Keegan, Brianna Morgan, Stefani Stojic, and Belinda Woolcock have been participating in the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. On Sunday, Florida swept the boards and took home both the singles and doubles titles.

Janowicz won the singles finals in a three set battle against her teammate Morgan, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5. With this win, she collected her second title of the fall. On the doubles court, Keegan and Morgan teamed up to defeat the Memphis tandem Stesanie Mikesz and Anki Wind 8-1.

This event wrapped up the fall season.

“I am so proud of this team,” said Assistant Coach Dave Balogh. “Bringing home the singles and doubles titles is a perfect way to end our fall. It’s a bi-product of all the hard work they’ve put in on the court and in the gym.”

Next up for the Gators after the winter break will be the first round of the ITA Kickoff Classic, which serves as the first two rounds of the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships. Florida will face Louisville on Jan. 25 at 10 a.m.
