Most people see Eugene as homeless. He would disagree.

"I've got a tent, and that's my home. So no, I'm not homeless."

The 42-year-old has lived without walls and windows for seven years.

Eugene says he makes about $500 per week. Most is spent on an assortment of drugs, although he says he's not addicted.

"The drugs don't do me. I do it."

Despite the drugs, Eugene works every day of the week. He can usually be seen working at downtown bars and restaurants cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash and for a couple dollars, he'll even find you a parking spot on a busy night.

Always smiling and joking with his co-workers, Eugene relishes in the good moments.

"I've never had a dull moment. I got a damn good life."
