David Nigliazzo was not the only controversial nominee.
Tony Bajoczky, Jr. apparently did not know what the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act is.
Senate Minority Leader Jon Ossip asked for Bajoczky's view on how FERPA applies to student government (the court has previously ruled that the senators' voting records are protected by FERPA) and his response was basically that the UF Supreme Court is bound by state law (FERPA is a federal law).
Bajozcky passed on a strict party line vote, with all and only the Unite Party senators voting yes.
