Gainesville Police said they found the body of an “elderly” woman Thursday morning who they believed got lost and fell into a ditch.
The woman, who is currently unnamed and age not specified, was found by the 5200 block of Northwest Eighth Avenue by CYM Coffee Co, said Jorge Campos, a Gainesville Police spokesperson. She most likely died the same day.
There is no indication of the death being a medical complication, Campos said.
