This post concludes what movies are coming out this summer depending on what group you are in. But by all means, if you want to see a movie that isn't in a group you consider yourself to be a part of – go see that movie. People never see enough movies in my opinion (good ones at least).
Anyone else notice on how both of these lists there are more comedies than any other group?

“Captain America: The First Avenger” (July 22) - After being deemed unfit for military service during WWII, Steve Rogers volunteers for a top-secret research project that turns him into Captain America, the Sentinel of Liberty — a superhero dedicated to defending America's ideals. His first mission: to combat the Nazi propaganda effort headed by Johann Schmidt, also known as the Red Skull. Watch the trailer here.
“Cowboys and Aliens” (July 29) - In Silver City, Ariz., Apache Indians and Western settlers must lay their differences aside when an alien spaceship crash lands in their city. Watch the trailer here.

“The Help” (August 12) - Jackson, Miss., 1962: Aspiring writer Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan returns home after college, where unexpected friendships with African-American maids Aibeleen Clark and Minny Jackson result in a book that gives a previously unheard voice to a community's suffering. Romantic Comedies
“Friends with Benefits” (July 22) - While trying to avoid the clichés of Hollywood romantic comedies, Dylan and Jamie soon discover that adding the act of sex to their friendship does lead to complications. Watch the trailer here.
In Need of a Good Laugh
“Larry Crowne” (July 1) - Unclear of his next steps after losing his job at a big-box retailer, Larry Crowne enrolls at his local college, where he finds a niche among the school's community of outcasts and a connection with a teacher who has lost her passion for life. Watch the trailer here.
“Monte Carlo” (July 1) - Three young women vacationing in Paris find themselves whisked away to Monte Carlo after one of the girls is mistaken for a British heiress. Watch the trailer here.
“Zookeeper” (July 8) - The animals at one particular zoo decide to break their code of silence in order to help their lovable zookeeper (James) gain the attention of one particular woman. Watch the trailer here.
“Horrible Bosses” (July 8) - Three friends concoct a deadly plan when they realize their respective bosses are making their lives miserable. No trailer available yet (sorry).
“Crazy, Stupid, Love” (July 29) - A married guy tries to balance handling a crisis with his wife, attending couples therapy and maintaining his relationship with his kids. Watch the trailer here.
“The Change-Up” (August 5) - A family guy switches bodies with his slacker best friend in an effort to romance his co-worker. No trailer available yet (sorry).
“30 Minutes or Less” (August 12) - Two fledgling criminals kidnap pizza delivery guy Nick, strap a bomb to his chest and inform him that he has mere hours to rob a bank. As the clock ticks, Nick, with the help of his ex-best friend, Chet, deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers and their own tumultuous relationship. No trailer available yet (sorry).
“Our Idiot Brother” (August 26) - A pot bust sends nice-guy Ned to jail, and though he's released early on good behavior, he returns home to discover that his girlfriend has left and taken his dog with her. Homeless and unemployed, he divides his time by couch-surfing at the homes of his three sisters — and causing chaos in each of their lives. No trailer available yet (sorry).
Action Junkies
“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” (July 1) - Against the backdrop of the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, the alliance between Sam Witwicky and Optimus Prime is put to the test against a common enemy: Shockwave. Watch the trailer here.
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two” (July 15) - The end begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts to find and destroy the final horcruxes. But when Voldemort finds out about their mission, the battle we've all known has been coming — Harry versus Voldemort — looms on the horizon. Who will triumph? No trailer available yet (sorry).
“Rise of the Planet of the Apes” (August 5) - In present day San Francisco, a scientist looks for a cure for Alzheimer's disease by experimenting on a chimpanzee named Caesar. The development of animal intelligence brings about a war for supremacy between humans and apes. Watch the trailer here.
“Conan the Barbarian” (August 19) - Muscle-bound warrior Conan the Cimmerian seeks to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village. Watch the trailer here.
For the Thrill in All of Us
“Winnie the Pooh” (July 15) - While out looking for some honey, Winnie the Pooh is pulled into a quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. Watch the trailer here.
“The Smurfs” (July 29) - The little blue creatures of Smurf village move to New York City after the evil wizard Gargamel chases them out of their mushroom-like homes in the forest. Watch the trailer here.
“Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World” (August 19) - A former spy returns to her old profession in order to stop a villain known as the Timekeeper and his nefarious plan for world domination. No trailer available yet (sorry).
Please Hold My Hand
“Don't Be Afraid of the Dark” (August 12) - A young girl sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend discovers creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own. Watch the trailer here.
“Fright Night” (August 19) - Teenager Charley Brewster guesses that his new neighbor Jerry Dandrige is a vampire responsible for a string of recent deaths. When no one he knows believes him, he enlists Peter Vincent, the opportunistic host of his favorite TV show, to help him take down Jerry and his guardian. No trailer available yet (sorry).
“Final Destination 5” (August 26) - Teen survivors of a suspension-bridge collapse soon begin to fear that there's no way you can cheat Death. No trailer available yet (sorry).
