The AUK Market, a mixed-vendor marketplace of local businesses, will open on Nov. 2 in the Curia Complex.

On May 7, the Curia Off the Drag Vegan Kitchen and Dad’s Bar closed. At the time, Curia on the Drag told patrons that the building was taking a summer break, but on Oct. 2, the “Sixth Street Oasis” announced the building would house an entirely different business.

Auk Market will sell household goods from Zorka Rose Vintage, clothing from La Chua Vintage and handcrafted jewelry from Timber Line Jewelry. Customers can enjoy drinks from Dad’s Bar while shopping.

The kitchen will be returning as well. Patrons will be able to enjoy the hot vegan creations across the expansive 2 1/2 acres of the entire Curia Complex, located at 2029 NW Sixth St., from a food truck.

This week, La Chua Vintage is selling all items at their old location for 30 percent off their original price.

Shoppers can get a sneak peek at AUK Market’s soft opening from Oct. 19. through Oct. 21.
