About 127 people were either arrested or ejected from the UF vs. Louisiana State University football game Saturday night — 13 more than the last LSU home game in 2012.

Out of the 118 people who were ejected, 49 were UF students. Seventeen of the ejections were made for possession of alcohol, along with 28 for disorderly conduct, 22 for intoxication, 16 for ticket switching, 12 for sitting in the wrong section, 13 for not having a ticket and 10 for smoking.

Nine people were arrested — the most since the 12 arrests made at the 2012 University of South Carolina home game Oct. 20.

Three arrests were UF students. One was for alcohol possession, one for disorderly conduct and one for battery. Six were charged with trespassing after warning.

Since the beginning of this football season, the number of gameday arrests and ejections has increased. At the canceled home opener against the University of Idaho on Aug. 30, there were 25 arrests and ejections total, while 98 people were either arrested or ejected at UF’s SEC home opener against the University of Kentucky on Sept. 13.

Saturday’s game came just 35 incidents shy of the 158 ejections and four arrests made at last year’s Florida State University home game.
