Wiz Khalifa will perform at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in honor of Black History Month.

The concert will be held Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m., said Bobby Finigan, the chairman of Student Government Productions. K Camp will be the opening act. Khalifa and K Camp will be paid together $153,500, Finigan said. He said SGP partnered with the Black Student Union to bring Khalifa and K Camp to UF to draw attention to Black History Month.

“People just know his music and know his background,” he said.

UF biology junior Danielle Kleinberg said she is excited for Khalifa to come to UF.

“It’s an experience in itself to see Wiz Khalifa perform,” the 21-year-old said.

Students with Gator 1 Cards can buy tickets starting at noon Tuesday at the O’Connell Center box office. Tickets will be available to the general public online or in person at noon Thursday. Student tickets start at $10, and tickets for the general public start at $20.
