I was pleased with Marc Weinoth's article Friday.
Scalping is unfair to honest students, but my main response to his article didn't have much to do with its content. My first thought was, "Why is football such a big deal?"
Football games are fun, but they are just games.
The worst part about scalping is these jerks get business because someone is so desperate to see a game he or she would pay $100 or more for a $10 student ticket.
OK, you didn't win the ticket lottery, and you're upset. You're frustrated and probably find yourself saying, "It's not fair."
Instead of pouting about it or giving the scalpers your business, make an event of it at home. Watch the game on TV with your classmates who didn't win the lotto either.
It won't be as fun as going to the game, but it's way better than watching it alone or giving up $100.
