Senior Kelsy Smith has this weekend left to qualify for the NCAA Championships, and the pressure is on.

UF swimmers and divers who have yet to qualify for the NCAAs, which will take place next month, have the opportunity to shine Friday through Sunday at the Florida Swimming Spring Senior Championship in Orlando. Preliminary swims will start at 10:30 a.m. each day, and finals will begin at 4:30 p.m.

"We have set high goals for ourselves as a team this year," Smith said. "Making NCAAs is a major goal for me every season. I have been close, so this time I want to be there to compete."

A few selected swimmers who have achieved NCAA 'B' qualifying marks will be competing in order to qualify with 'A' times.

"I have achieved almost all my best times this season, and this weekend I hope to drop even more time," she said.
