“It’s been a great learning experience being here at the University

of Florida, but I feel like it’s in my best interest to get a fresh

start somewhere else, “ Dunkley said in a press release.

After catching 34 passes for 721 yards and four touchdowns in his

senior season at Pahokee High, Dunkley came to UF as a four-star

prospect and the No. 9 wide receiver in the country, according to

Rivals.com.

But the 6-foot, 172-pound freshman was hampered by a nagging

hamstring injury carried over from his high school career.

Dunkley never saw the field at UF despite dressing for four

games.

McRoy, a freshman who enrolled at Florida in January, is reportedly

headed to Texas Tech to reunite with his brother Ben, a sophomore

running back.

“I enjoyed my time at Florida, but I really want the chance to play

with my brother,” McRoy said. “Florida has been very understanding

and is giving me that opportunity.”

four-star prospect and the No. 28 wide receiver in the country by

Rivals.com.

McRoy missed UF’s spring game and the later parts of spring camp

after having a medical procedure on his lung, according to

Muschamp. UF’s coach added that the ailment would not be a

long-term issue.

McRoy caught 26 passes for 527 yards and 10 touchdowns in his

senior season at Lakeland High. He also carried the ball 42 times

for 684 yards and two touchdowns.

“We wish both of these guys the best of luck in their future

endeavors, both on and off the field,” Muschamp said.
