When faced with the trials and tribulations of midlife monotony, middle-aged adults find their ways of coping. Some people buy Corvettes. Others may get a new tattoo. But Robb Eggleston took a different approach. City Commission addresses proposed funding cuts to RTS; UF invites city ‘back to the table’

The Gainesville City Commission held a special meeting Thursday addressing the reductions in funding for the Gainesville Regional Transit System proposed by UF during “good-faith talks” between the city and the university. No official decisions have been made regarding the proposed changes, and UF and the city are “still at the table,” according to a letter from UF sent Thursday.
