On one of the first cool Sundays of the season, UF RecSports hosted Gator Open Climb on the south shore of Lake Wauburg. The 40-foot tall Alpine Tower, featuring a variety of routes to the top, was free for all students with a Gator 1 card to climb from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Normally, groups must sign up in advance to climb the tower. This event, which happens every semester, invites all students to climb the tower without having to register in groups.
