The Florida women’s cross country team concluded its season with a strong performance en route to a No. 12 finish at the NCAA Championship. The race took place on a snowy Zimmer Cross Country Championship Course in Madison, Wisconsin.

The event saw 31 schools competing with a total of 254 runners on the course. Eight Gators traveled to Madison: freshmen Reagan Gilmore and Gabrielle Schmidt; juniors Hilda Olemomoi, Beth Morley, Caroline Wells and Tia Wilson; and seniors Allison Wilson and Liina Winborn.

Olemomoi led the way for the Gators once again, finishing in third place with a 19:28.7 time. Olemomoi has had an impressive season, finishing in the top three in every race she has competed in for the Gators. Most recently, she recorded a first-place finish at the NCAA South Regional.

Wilson crossed the finish line next for Florida with a 20:19.9 time, earning her the No. 63 spot. Morley came in behind Wilson in the No. 108 slot with a 20:34.4 finish. Wells ran her way to a No. 174 finish with a 20:58.8 time,  and Gilmore took the No. 179 spot with a 21:01.6 finish.
