Election Day is less than a week away. In anticipation of an influx of early voters, the Alligator has crafted a voter guide outlining candidates from the county level to the state level.
The Alligator Editorial Board sent a questionnaire to each candidate according to their contact information posted to the Supervisor of Elections website or their campaign website. The questionnaire was tailored to the specific race. Their answers to the questions are in the candidates’ own words. The Editorial Board also wrote short biographies for each candidate based on their answers and public information.

Not all candidates opted to answer the questionnaire. If their positions or priorities were stated elsewhere, the Editorial Board made an attempt to include them.
The Alligator Editorial Board does not endorse candidates. The voter guide does not involve recommendations on how to vote.
Across Alachua County, eight early voting stations are open and available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. up until Nov. 3. If you are registered to vote in another county, you can fill out a form at a station to receive an Alachua County ballot instead. You can vote in only one county.
