The Florida Gators swimming and diving team released its schedule Friday. The Gators are looking to win the SEC for a third-straight season.

The season begins with two consecutive home meets. Florida opens the season against Nova Southeastern Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center, followed by a matchup with Alabama Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at the O’Dome.

Florida’s first road meet of the season will be against Virginia Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. The women’s team is taking on a Virginia team that won the last four NCAA Championships.

UF’s remaining conference slate contains road meets at Georgia on Nov. 1 and Texas A&M on Jan. 17.

However, the Gators will be staying busy during the time between these conference meets.

UF will make a second trip to Athens from Nov. 20-22 for the Georgia Invite. Two weeks later, Florida will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina, to compete in the Toyota US Open Championships from Dec. 4-7. On Jan. 3, the Gators will host for their final home meet of the regular season against the Indiana Hoosiers.

Florida’s final meet before the SEC and NCAA Tournaments will be in Ocala for a neutral-site meet against Florida State Jan. 31.

The SEC Championships are set to take place from Feb. 18-22. The Florida Invitational follows it up from Feb. 27-29.

The NCAA Tournaments start on March 9-12 with the Diving Zones.

The women’s Swimming and Diving Championships will take place from March 19-22. Meanwhile, the men’s Swimming and Diving Championships are set for the following week from March 26-29.
