The Florida Gators men's tennis team looks to rebound from last year’s 13-12 record with a tough schedule. UF returns to the court Sept. 13-15 at the Bama Invite in Tuscaloosa.

The Gators will also feature in the Fayetteville 25K Futures in Fayetteville, Arkansas Sept. 16-22, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships in Tulsa, Sept 21-29, the Big 12/SEC Challenge in Waco, Texas, Oct. 4-6, the ITA Regional Championships in Lake Nona, Florida, Oct. 10-15 and the Normal 25K Futures in Norman, Oklahoma Oct. 21-27.

Florida will host the Bedford Cup Oct. 25-27. The Gators will then hit the road for their last 4 tournaments of the season. Florida will be in action for sectionals in Tallahassee, Nov. 7-10, the Bonita Bay classic in Naples, Florida, Nov. 8-10, the Columbus 25K Futures in Columbus, Ohio,  Nov. 11-17  and the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships in Waco Nov. 19-24.

In head coach Adam Steinberg’s second season, the Gators have six returning players from last year's squad. Steinberg continued the program’s streak of 32-straight NCAA Tournament appearances in his debut season.

In singles, sophomore Jeremy Jin is ranked No. 24 in the ITA’s preseason poll. Jin peaked at No. 57 in ITA’s rankings last season, having secured five ranked singles wins. He was also one of three players to receive both All-SEC and All-SEC Freshman team honors.

As a duo, Jin and junior Tanapatt Nirundorn rank No. 37. Moreover, Nirundron had 17 doubles victories with his former partners in sophomore Adhithya Ganesan, sophomore Kevin Edengren and former Gator Nate Bonetto.

Freshman Ben Weintraub also cracked the ITA newcomer rankings at No. 13. Weintraub is 19-8 in pro-level matches and holds a 45-39 record in ITF, ATP and Davis Cup level matches.
