No. 11 Florida lacrosse (9-2) took down the Old Dominion University Monarchs (3-8) 19-4 Saturday in its first conference game of the season.
The Gators increased their win streak to nine games.
Ten UF players scored in the contest.
Florida senior attacker Maggi Hall recorded her 100th career assist in the first quarter. Additionally, she put up two goals in the first quarter. Hall recorded a first-half hat trick after scoring three more goals in the second quarter.
Gator senior attacker Danielle Pavinelli had a hat trick after two goals in the first quarter and two in the second.
Florida graduate student midfielder Emily Heller scored twice in the second quarter. She has scored in all 11 games of the season.
Graduate student midfielder Paisley Eagan scored one goal in her 75th straight appearance with the Gators.
Florida’s defense dominated the Monarchs, with senior goalkeeper Georgia Hoey facing just six shots during her time on the field. She posted a save percentage of .500 in the first 38 minutes. Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Elyse Finnelle had a save percentage of .750 in the remaining time.
Next, the Gators host Liberty University on Wednesday at 3 p.m. for the final game of their five-game homestand. The game can be streamed on ESPN+.
