A UF student on pretrial release was arrested by the Gainesville Police Department Thursday night on suspicion of indecent exposure.
Louis Flint, 21, was charged with exposing himself and urinating on 192 bottles of alcohol at Total Wine & More and exposing himself again at UF Health Shands the following morning.
Flint was on pretrial release after he was arrested Feb. 1 at his former fraternity house, Beta Theta Pi, on one charge of sexual assault, six charges of battery and one charge of possessing a fake ID.
GPD responded to a call at Total Wine & More at 3965 Plaza Blvd, where Flint had reportedly exposed himself and asked the nearby manager and customers to “suck it,” according to the arrest report.
The student’s alleged urination resulted in about $1,400 of loss. He was said to have grabbed two bottles of alcohol on his way out of the store, valued at a cost of around $53.
According to the arrest report, Flint was unable to be interviewed due to his level of intoxication and was transported to UF Health Shands by ambulance.
The following morning, several calls were made to Shands security about Flint exposing himself in the north tower. When asked to cover himself, Flint reportedly urinated on the property.
Flint was allegedly attempting to get on an RTS bus when GPD officers arrived and subsequently arrested him.
A $65,000 bond has been posted on the new charges.
