The Gainesville Police Department arrested an Ocala man Monday for sexually assaulting his girlfriend's 9-year-old daughter.
Nathan Everett Pierson, 28, was charged with sexual battery of a person under 12 and lewd or lascivious molestation, according to a GPD arrest affidavit. He is being held at the Alachua County Jail. Pierson’s bond has not been set yet and he has a no contact order with the little girl.
The young girl told her school counselor that the man she calls “daddy” touched her “private parts,” according to the police report.
The child went through a forensic interview at the Child Advocacy Center of Gainesville and told people during the interview she saw Pierson watching pornography on his cell phone during the summer of 2023, according to the police.
After the girl asked Pierson what he was watching, he explained to her what pornography is and talked to her in detail about sexual things, according to the affidavit.
Pierson reportedly told the child she was bisexual and would show her pornographic videos when the girl's mother was asleep or not home.
The young girl told the forensic interviewers that she and Pierson would play fight and on at least one occasion, his penis slipped out of his shorts and the girl had to tell Pierson that it fell out, according to the police.
Pierson told police how when the young girl noticed him watching porn one day, she seemed “intrigued but cautious,” so he told her about a variety of sexual acts and showed her pornography, according to the police report.
He then said the girl asked him to watch pornography. They would watch it together multiple times a day.
Pierson told GPD the girl disclosed to him her dreams of having sex with Pierson and doing sexual acts “like in the videos,” according to the affidavit. He then told her they couldn’t do that because it would be cheating on her mom. He told police the girl “took that surprisingly well.”
The defendant told police he touched the young girl's genitals and her rear in August. He told the girl he was asleep when he touched her but that he really wasn’t asleep, according to GPD.
Peirson told the girl he was dreaming of having sex with a stripper while touching her. He told police the girl knew what a stripper was from movies even though he told GPD earlier that the girl only watched Disney movies.
