UC Riverside senior transfer guard Zyon Pullin committed to the Florida Gators men’s basketball team and head coach Todd Golden Wednesday, according to reports from ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.
Pullin chose the Gators over Louisiana State, Xavier, Gonzaga and Michigan.
The 6-foot-4-inch guard was named to the All-Big West first team in the 2022-2023 season. He averaged 18.3 points, 4.3 assists and played 33.9 minutes per game as a starter.
Pullin — originally from Pleasant Hill, California — joined the Highlanders in 2019. Throughout his first three years at the program, he earned accolades such as Big West All-Academic and All-Big West Second Team.
He entered the top-10 in assists in program history his junior year. Pullin orchestrated 400 assists while recording a 27% assist rate during his tenure at UC Riverside.
Pullin improved his shot last season, posting a career-best 48.3% shooting percentage from the floor.
The addition from California makes Pullin the fifth player to join UF’s roster from the transfer portal this season.
