TikToker Josh Richards’ $60,000 visit to UF was postponed indefinitely Monday.
Richards’ Wednesday event was canceled due to an unforeseen family obligation, according to an Instagram post from the Accent Speakers Bureau. No alternate time was mentioned.
Richards referenced a family camping trip on his Instagram through both a post and his story Monday afternoon, but it’s unclear whether this is connected to the cancellation. Richards’ last TikTok, posted Sunday, placed him in Cannes, France, for a June 22 Spotify event.
Accent would pay him $60,000, according to the contract obtained by The Alligator Monday. Richards’ inability to attend is not a material breach of contract, and UF is obligated to reschedule.
