UF Health reports four positive cases out of 517 tests for the first week of June.
After achieving a 0% positivity rate during the last week of May, UF maintained between a 0% and 1% seven-day positivity rate average from June 1 to 7.
The weekly average number of tests conducted declined by 25% from the last week of May.
As of Tuesday, the total number of positive cases reached 10,063 since tracking began in March 2020. Of the positive cases, 7,125 were students, 1,551 were employees and 1,387 were affiliates.
As of Tuesday, 52 students and 20 employees are quarantined or in isolation. The numbers remained fairly steady, decreasing by one student and 5 employees since June 1.
The Alachua County COVID-19 dashboard was unavailable on Tuesday.
According to a June 3 media release, the county vaccinated 133 people, bringing its total to 130,790 doses administered.
The county reported 15 positive cases and 725 negative cases with a 2.03% positivity rate on June 3.
Alachua County reported zero new deaths on June 3 with a total of 285 deaths.
Between 70% and 80% of UF students have received a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a UF Health estimate in May.
