The Florida women’s golf team released its 2021 spring schedule, head coach Emily Glaser announced Thursday.

The No. 8 ranked Gators will play a total of eight tournaments this spring, starting with the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Florida. The Invitational, hosted by the University of Louisville, will take place at Duran Golf Club from Feb. 14-16.

The Gators will then return to Gainesville to compete in the Gators Invitational presented by VyStar. The 49th annual Gators Invitational will take place at Mark Bostick Golf Course from Feb. 21-23. Florida has won 23 of the past 48 tournaments, including the last five in a row.

Florida will kick off the month of March in Columbia, South Carolina, at the Gamecock Intercollegiate. The tournament, hosted by USC, will take place at the Columbia Country Club from March 1-3.

After three straight weeks of competition, the Gators will have a bye week before their next event, which will take place in Athens, Georgia. The Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, hosted by the University of Georgia, is set to be played at the UGA Golf Course. It’s one of the oldest tournaments in the country, beginning in 1973. This year’s rendition will be from March 19-21.

Florida will have another off week before its next tournament in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The LSU Tiger Invitational is hosted by LSU and will take place at the LSU Golf Course. The Gators’ conclusion of the regular season is set to happen from April 6-7.

"This schedule will help us in reaching our goals,” Glaser said in a release. “To improve as a team each week and be the most competitive team we can become postseason."

The postseason will start in mid-April with the SEC Championship, which is expected to take place in Birmingham, Alabama, at the Greystone Golf Club on its Legacy Course.

This will be the eighth time the championship will be played at Greystone. The tournament, scheduled for April 14-18, will be broadcasted on the SEC Network all five days of competition. The first three days will be a stroke-play competition, followed by two days of match play.

The location of the NCAA Regional Championship isn’t announced yet, but four locations are being considered: the OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio; the University of Louisville Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky; the University Club in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, California.

The regional championship will take place from May 10-12.

The NCAA National Championship will be played in Scottsdale, Arizona, at Grayhawk Golf Club from May 21-26. Grayhawk will also host the tournament in 2022.
