COVID-19 protocols puts hold on Florida-FSU match

Health and safety protocols within FSU will postpone Sunday’s matchup

The Gators were set to take a trip to Tallahassee to play in-state rival Florida State Sunday morning.

The match will now be rescheduled for a later time in the season due to health and safety protocols between the UAA and FSU. It’s unknown a if a FSU player or staff member has tested positive for COVID-19.

The teams are still set to compete March 21 in Gainesville.The postponement gives the No. 11 Gators an extra day of rest after defeating the UCF Knights 5-2 Friday afternoon. 

Florida will play SEC opponent Alabama when the Tide visits the Swamp Feb.19
