Florida softball announced Wednesday that a quartet of new players are set to join the team next fall after national signing day.

Head coach Tim Walton and his squad will be joined by Cali Decker, Lexie Delbrey, Reagan Walsh, and Kendra Falby.

Decker, a catcher from Lake Mary, Florida, was a member of the 2020 Florida Athletic Coaches Association 7A All-State Team and All-Academic Team. She was an All-Conference First Team member in 2020 and an All-Seminole Athletic Conference First Team member in 2019. She was also named an 2018-19 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Scholar-Athlete.

Delbrey, a right-handed pitcher from Bainbridge, Georgia, was the 2020-21 Region 1-AAAA Player of the Year and the Region 1-AAAA Pitcher of the Year the two previous years (2018-19, 2019-20). She was ranked by Softball America as the 7th overall player in the class of 2021. She was named to the 2020-21 Georgia Dugout Club All-State Team and was nominated for 2018-19 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year.

Walsh, a Californian infielder from Redondo Beach, is a three-time Daily Breeze All-Area League First Teamer (2018-20) and was named All-State Cal-Hi Sports Player of the Week in 2018. She batted .370 as a South Torrance sophomore in 2019, including .440 in league games against other schools in the area.

Falby, an outfielder from Tampa, Florida, won Eastern Conference Player of the Year and was named a MaxPreps National Underclass All-American Freshman in 2018. She was the 2019 Canadian Jr. Athlete of the Year and Home Run Sports Female Fastpitch Minor Athlete of the Year. Falby was also a part of the bronze medal team at the 2019 WBSC Junior World Cup. She was named to the Canadian U-19 Women’s National Team in 2019.

“I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to coach these young women starting next fall and helping them achieve their goals both on and off the field,” Walton said of his newest recruits.
