All of the puzzle pieces were placed, and UF's nine-game, non-conference schedule has officially been confirmed after Wednesday's announcements by the program.
The Gators open up their 2020-21 campaign at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Nov. 25 against Maine and follow that up two days later at the same location with a marquee matchup against Virginia.
The Mohegan Sun will be dubbed "Bubbleville" as multiple teams from both men's and women's basketball will congregate to compete from Nov. 25 through Dec. 5.
The SEC/Big 12 Challenge schedule was released on Wednesday as well, and Florida learned it'll take on the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown, West Virginia, on Jan. 30.
UF is 6-3 all-time against West Virginia and 2-0 against the Mountaineers under head coach Mike White.
The Gators are 4-3 in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge since its inception in 2013, and will look to win their first game in the event since upending Baylor 81-60 in 2018.
The other key contests include UConn on Dec. 6 at home and a two-hour road trip to Tallahassee to play Florida State on Dec. 12. These two opponents have proved to be difficult matchups for the Gators recently, as White is a combined 0-7 against the Huskies and Seminoles while he's been at Florida.
The rest of the non-conference lineup looks like this: at Oklahoma on Dec. 2, vs North Florida on Dec. 16, vs Florida Atlantic on Dec. 19 and vs James Madison on Dec. 22.
