All southbound lanes on Interstate 75 near Gainesville were closed Monday night after a fatal crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol’s website.
Troopers were dispatched at 7:51 p.m. and arrived on scene in six minutes. The Florida Highway Patrol could not be immediately reached for information.
The crash occurred at Exit 387 onto Newberry Road, according to Florida 511 and the Gainesville Sun.
